Does Chennai has good/decent hotels?

Can any body recommend good hotels for accomodation near to IIT Chennai?

• Actually going to chennai is our 1st trip. we dont know about the accomodation fares in hotels near to IIT chennai....so can any body recommend good hotels along with the hotels phone no.s so that we can ask for the accomodation....we need accomodation for 15-17 students 300-400 in a room ...3-4 students per room
