What are the requirements upon applying husband's visa in UAE?

I have to come to uk in Business visa through emirates while return wanted a transit visa in dubai process pl.

  • What is the process to get the Transit visa for dubai while return. I have a confirmed ticket to India from Heathrow Airport ( UK) via Dubai in Emirates flight. Do i have to visit the UAE embassy in uk for applying visa ? What are the requirements for applying the visa... Will it be involved any cost for the visa.

  • Answer:

If you are transiting in Dubai then you will not need a transit visa providing you are: - continuing within 24 hours by same or first connecting aircraft to a third country; and - holding confirmed onward ticket; and - holding documents for next destination; - and not leaving the airport transit area. If you have a transit time longer than 8 hours, up to a max. of 96 hours, then you are permitted to leave the transit area by applying for a 96 hour transit visa on arrival, which will be under guarantee from the airline. Passport must be left with Immigration until departure.

Getting transit visa is for no cost. I guess you should have atleast 10 hrs for transit then only they will provide the transit visa, for you to visit Dubai and the returning for the flights should be on the same day i.e within 12-24 hrs. Orelse if you are going to stay or postponing the connecting flight then you have to get visa for that Country from your destination country then only you are allowed to enter in that country.
