Decent hotels in chennai,pondicherry and mahabalipuram where i can stay with my boyfriend?

i am planning for a weekend trip from chennai to pondy and mahabalipuram with my boyfriend this summer..we are students and are from calcutta..suggest me some decent hotels where we won't have any problem in staying as we are unmarried..we are ready to spend 1500-2000 rs./night on hotels.. advice needed..

It is difficult to get hotel rooms to stay with unmarried boys at Chennai/Puduchery/Mahabalipuram. If police makes raids, then it will be difficult for both of you.
