From Chennai the filghts are as follows chennai- abu dhabi - johannesberg - durban. The total flight time is 19 hr 20 min and the fare is Rs.27636/- (Combination of 3 Airlines). another option is Via Bumbai. Book directly through an airline website rather than a travel agent. Take an internal flight from Chennai on Deccan or Go Air to a major Indian city (e.g. Mumbai) cos a lot of major airlines don't fly direct to Chennai. check www.makemytrip.com or www.cleartrip.com you should not look at an Indian carrier but a south african carrier as they would offer better rates in india (indian carriers would offer better rates in the other country) AM
