How to obtain railway reservation ticket through internet?

just type www.indianrail.gov.in/ in the URL.after that choose trains between imp. stations. there u have to choose the train u like to travel in and all the details regarding the time, amount, availabitlity etc after providing them with those info. u can make the payment thru ur credit or debit card and then u'llget ur tickets at ur doorstep. bye n happy journey.

Here in the US its usually as easy as booking a reservation and they will email you a conformation and reservation to you like booking airfare. Check the website of the railway you are going to take and see what their policies are for booking reservations. I know Amtrak will email you a confirmation reservation once booked.

this is very easy process if you own a credit card . just go to irctc.com ,create your user id and password .then go to plan my travel ,then just follow the instructions .or u can visit indianrailways.gov.in then book my ticket /plan my travel . thats all . u will get ur ticket by 2 days by sitting at home . is it not fun my dear ?
