What is the best route by road from Bangalore to Delhi?

Road route bangalore to goa? shortest and also the best route?

  • planning a road trip from bangalore to goa. did a bit of research on internet. and it comes down to these 3 options. 1-bangalore-shimoga-sagar-honnavar-kar… 2-bangalore-tumkur-davanagere-hubli-ka… (or hubli-belgaum-goa) 3-Bangalore – Tumkur – Sira – Chitradurga – Davangere – Ranibennur – Haveri – Sirsi – Mirjan – Ankola – Karwar – goa. would like to know which is the best route to take, 50kms give or take is no issue, as long as roads are good. regards. P.S- kindly answer if travelled recently, else please don't bother

    Bangalore-Tumkur-Davanagere-hubli-Dharwa… is good route. From Dharwad - Alnawar - londa - Mollem National park - Goa. Bangalore to Dharwad NH 4 and very very good rood, - At before hubli take by-pass road (to Belgaum route) - While at end of dharwad tollgate left turn to Alnawar road from Alnawar to Mollem road is state high way and single road from mollem you will get NH raod again Happy journey!!

Belgaum route - No. Shimoga-Honnavar - bad stretches near Shimoga & a little near Honnavar. NH-4: Chitradurga & Tumkur by-pass sections are bad. Davangere-Harihar by-pass upto Haveri (about 80-90 km) is in-complete. It's stil the old un-divided NH-4, with worn-out surface. BLR-Davangere & Haveri-Hubli is good. Avoid night drive on Hubli-Karwar stretch. That section will be loaded with ore laden trucks at night, & early morning. Suggest you avoid ghats at night (After Shimoga, upto Honnavar). __________________
