    Dude, if your 'Adhar Ilaka' (base station) is going to be Sadashiv nagar, then I suggest you stay in Yeshwanthpur. Its about 20-30 minutes walk from Sadashiv nagar, but quite worth it. You could also choose to stay in nearby places like Malleshwaram, Majestic or even Sadashivnagar itself, but those places are quite relatively much expensive to be worth it. In Yeshwanthpur, there are many PGs. Walk along the Triveni Road, you will find many. Priya Hostel, Pawan Students Hostel, Sai PG/Hostel, Venketashwara PG etc ( I forgot the names of others, but there are many more) are some of them. I have stayed in two-Priya and Pawan-of them and enquired most of them. I found both of them good. But Priya was not very clean though. Pawan is clean, spacious and has very friendly managers - and you also have two great messes just outside it for fooding. That is about it. If you are looking for a more posh kind of thing. You could choose RT Nagar. (I have stayed there also). But, the cost involved is way too high, then Yeshwanthpur -- and the only difference is people in RT nagar speak 'English' more easily than those in RT Nagar. (I am not sure if you understood what I mean -- I mean, RT Nagar is more posh than Yeshwanthpur -- but no addition of value)

Getting accommodation is pretty easy in bangalore.. You come you will see multiple to-let board in any area you prefer. Anyway Magics bricks and 99acre this site also helps to find. As you are 6-8 people choose one big 3 BHK room. YOu can share the rent. I have search in Sadashiv Nagar though magic bricks for you. See below. Problem is this site has most contact number for broker. This broker ask for 1 month rent. Negotiate a bit .
