Route from bangalore and places to visit in mysore-bandipur-ooty?

Hi.. I am planning to drive down from bangalore to mysore-bandipur-ooty sometime later in the month. Can anyone suggest the best route to take.. and the places to visit in all three places.. its gonna be a 3 day overall.. or should i make it 4 to cover everything properly? Any suggestion is welcome :)
