Why can't I reset my Yahoo password?

I cant login to my yahoo account nor I can reset my password why? Help me?

• last week i found out that my yahoo password does'nt work and then I tried to reset my password and it doesnt allow me to rest the password. It shows this error message... " Sorry, your password can't be reset online (9024) " I tried to contacted the customer care many times and those idots could only send me automated emails saying how to protect my account, I am so pissed off with those automated mails....yahoo can't even save even their clients email accounts. Can some one tell me whats wrong and how I could reset my passoword and recover my account.... Please one more thing....I tried everything....to recover my account ..tried to login from other different yahoo servers....I am not new to yahoo so I tried everything....and nothing works....   First let me give you some things to check out about your Sign-in Problems and some troubleshooting tips. Then if you still can't sign in, I will give you a form to fill out, I am not sure if it is the same one you used before or not. Hopefully not. SIGN-IN PROBLEMS WITH YAHOO MESSENGER If this is the first time that you have had the problem first try exiting Y!M by right clicking the Yahoo! icon by your clock and choosing exit. Then relaunch Y!M and try again. If you still have problems reboot your computer. Some of these issues just work themselves out after a certain amount of time. If you do not want to wait then you can try checking into a few things, and the troubleshooting steps below. PLEASE CHECK 1. First if you are using a firewall make sure you are using Yahoo Messenger 9.0 or it probably will not work.
