I Forgot my password in FB I clicked forgot your password and they want me to reset it?

I forgot my Facebook password I clicked the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD thing in FB so I entered my email but they want me to reset my password! How em I gonna Know my OLD password if I reset it? so if I reset it is there a chance I can know my OLD password?

Answer:
No once you reset your password the old password will not work anymore so don't worry about it changing your FB password changing it will not change your email password.I advice to take note of the new password so you don't forget it.
