Are there showers in homeless shelters?

What you think about homeless shelters?

  • I hate these places to a tee their dirty and unclean and breed TB. These shelters degrade you and take your things away. It more of a Nazi death camp.. I rather see these shelters get nuked ..they give sewage to eat toilet water to drink. I say ban these shelters and destitute them

  • Answer:

Some might be unclean and are dirty. You would never even see one them in a middle class or upper middle class neighborhood. Also one would NOT see them in a city's downtown neighborhood where the middle class and upper middle class works. They are in the bad parts of the city, where there are drunks and homeless who don't know what part of the day is it, what year is it and what part of the year is it. I think those section whatever homes that very low income or no income people get. That is when the person do want to get the help from either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychiatric Social Workers or Psychiatrist he or she are seeing for the mental health problem. Are much better then the homeless shelters. It is almost like anyone going out to rent an apartment for $900-1200 a month.

If the government ban these sites, then the government have to provide those people, living there a place to live. This will be too costly so better let them live there itself.

FASTIDIOUS

Some shelters are good. They don't let you in if you are high or drunk so it is cleaner.
