Is it safe to buy from china when shopping on ebay?

  • i want to buy an iphone on ebay but the seller is in china. it says that their feedback is good and they have one of those top seller tags. would it be safe to buy?

    It is probably a fake. Just because they are considered a top seller doesn't mean the products are real. I would find another one in any other country but China. Ebay is pretty lax when it comes to this type of problem, only if enough buyers complain about a seller will ebay look into the seller's products. So you take a huge chance. China is known for it's fakes of everything, and the quality is horrible.

you have got the protection of using eBay disputes. if anything goes wrong you should be able to get your money back. So its pretty safe, make sure its got a warranty with it though.

I buy from ebay all the time, and some of my item come from Hong Kong/China, and iv never had a problem but honestly I wouldn't recommend buying a iphone from there, last time I bought eElectrocs *was a mp3 player* from china everything was in Chinese, like all the functions and language, it was made cheaply it was chinas version of it, I just wasted my money, not to mention somethings take up to over a month to show up, get one from the states
