What do I do when I need to back out of a ebay sell ?

• I recently placed an item on ebay for sell and it was bought , the buyer paid the money and its now in my bank account (whole transaction Through paypal) but i can no longer ship and sell the item anymore, but i already have the buyers money , is they're a law on ebay against this ? can i back out of a sell ? and now that i cant sell the item anymore what do i need to do ?

  Wow, well first you need to recover their funds. If it is in your bank account or you have a card on file with paypal you can do it that way. Contact buyer and tell them the item is no longer for sell, and you will promptly refund the money, if they agree you can refund and then send a "Request to Cancel" email. You can get back your final value fee that way and relist if you want. If the item is not saleable then the buyer has no recourse but to accept their money back. You run the risk of getting negative feedback but what can you do..
