What Is The Best Auction?

What are the best penny auction sites, where you don't have to pay to bid?

  • okay so i really wanna win a mac book cheep, how do i even have a change with doing so since the time starts back up and so on, and is there any where you dont need to pay to bid, or is that? whats the best penny auction sites, and any past expierences? let me know! (:

  • Answer:

Penny auction sites are a scam. They make their money on the cost to bid, not the bids themselves. They give a $500 item for $50 and make $5000. It is impossible not to have a charge to bid. They can't give $500 items for $50 and stay in business. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪

I have answered a similar question to this question before elsewhere on the site but it seem appropriate that I reiterate my answer here one again. The whole concept behind a penny auction site is that users have to bid on the auction with the winner being the user who has the last bid before the timer on the auction runs out. Every time someone makes a bid the timer is reset, so you need to be patient and not bid, bid, bid, bid all the time. This is what many do and it is the same reason that many lose a lot of cash without winning anything. Ultimately you need to pick the items you are going to bid on carefully and bid wisely. At the end of the day the best penny auction sites are the ones that allow you to use your loosing bids (your cash) towards buying items in the buy now categories. This is a great way to buy items still as generally they can still be 70 -85% cheaper than retail. So if you top up your account with bids (you need to buy these) from time to time as you are bidding on items you can be safe in the knowledge that if you don’t win any bids at all that you are still going to get something of great value at a hugely discounted price. Just remember that if you do win the bid it will mean that you have to pay the winning bid price to get you item. So if you are the winner and the winning price was let’s say 14.99 then you would need to pay 14.99 to get your item. Just beware the penny auction sites that then charge you a fortune for delivery, the best ones will deliver it for free.

You stand a better chance with some of the newer penny auctions. There are a few charity based auction sites too which are new.
