I did this once before. Contact the Seller directly first and he/she should usually be cooperative and asked you some questions to make sure you just not changing your mind. He/she then will give you an address and his/her shipping account number so you don't have to incur the cost of shipping since it's really their fault for sending the merchandise not in the condition it was advertised. Make sure that in their ad, they didn't say "no return". If that's the case, you're stuck! If he/she being unreasonable, take it up with Ebay and/or Paypal. They supposed to protect the Buyer against unreasonable Seller. Good luck!

Check the sellers return policy, just click on the item in "My Ebay" after signing in. The seller will have a return policy on the page. If the seller is not being helpful, Ebay has a program to resolve disputes, with a section on "Item was significantly different than described." They will work with you to solve the problem.
