Buyer hasn't paid for item on eBay?

On Ebay - My Items marked paid but nothings gone into my paypal?

  • This buyer won two of my items..she paid for them seperatly (dont know why she didnt ask to combine postage :S) But anyhows... The first item .. no problem..payment went straight into my paypal account..second item, however..nothings gone into my account. Its marked as payment received on the 11th June but theres not a blue pound sign like usual, theres an hourglass? Ive contacted her and shes said shes paid. I thought maybe paypals having problems so ill wait..i contacted both ebay and paypal but paypal havent yet got back to me and ebay told me to contact paypal.. its been 9 days and the payment still hasnt cleared in my account. can anyone help me? Whats going on? Thanks

    Look at the exact amount she paid. IF it is not inclusive of both items in price, let the customer know that paypal didn't process the second item. Ask here to check on her end at paypal, asking to check if secondpayment was sent to your email "[email protected]", and apologize on behalf of paypal, and tell your would like to send it out to here ASAP, and apologize for the delay this causes. Hered is what MAY have happened. She paid via the automatic link to "pay now" on eBay. Maybe you typed in the wrong email at some point when filling out your ebay account or listing info. Ebay activated this address that was on its files due to some mixup or something. So she paid, but it went to second paypal account :) you get it? I have two paypal accounts myself, and several email addresses attached to each. I have alternated them in the past, and sometimes, the old email shows up in the "pay immediately upon buy-it-now" option that ebay has for auctions with "buy-it-now" or for the end of auction address. Finally, if your auction is a pickup only, or if you selected "pickup" in your invoice to the buyer, that may have triggered a "paid" symbol, assuming the customer will pick it up.

If you would have ran your visor across the symbol there would have been a message stating Pending or something like that...She paid with an echeck and I hope you haven't sent the item. If it doesn't clear then what? You would have to open a dispute and hopefully you sent with tracking to prove you sent it before the payment cleared. You can send the one that is paid for or wait for the cleared payment. Look in your paypal at the transaction and you will see the pending funds and when it should be cleared. Which should be today...

ive had that prob before the hourglass meant that the payment was bein processed u need to wait to hear wat they say really as there may be a problem with it espcially if the 1st payment was not a prob, when i had the prob it turned out that payment had gone thru as an e-cheque for some reason and it tuk about 5-7 workin days t clear!! i wud keep contactin ebay via there customer support or pay pal b4 u send any items, also try the ebay community at the top of the page there may be somethin in there about it... hope this helps
