What is a 'Direct Thermal Label' for shipping?

What happens when i put the wrong weight on a shipping label?

  • What happens if you put a weight on the shipping label that is higher than how much the package actually weighs? I was think about doing this on purpose because i don't wont to get in line and wait at the post office for them to weigh, I would rather round up my weight on the scale i have at home. Would they care if i did that and just keep the extra money or what?

  • Answer:

They do not care and they keep the extra money. Did you know the second ounce on regular mail is 20 cents. How many people just put another 44 cent stamp on it? The post office is happy to get the extra money. ʎəɿʞɹɐq  ̊ ͜͡● ̊
