A question about Paypal?
-
I have a registered and verified paypal account, that is under my name. But i am not over 18. BUT, my paypal account is verified with my parent's credit card, and also their bank account. Is is illegal because the account is registered with my name, but it is linked to my parents credit card/bank account? And if i make money, or someone sends me money to my paypal account, will it be illegal because the account is registered to someone who is not over 18? I just do not want paypal freezing my account and my funds and banning me, because of my age.(Will they freeze all my current funds?) And yes, my parents do know that my paypal account is supported to their credit card / bank account. Also, i have physical cash, and i was wondering if there is anyway i can use that money to get funds into my paypal account? Like buy a prepaid credit/debit card and link it to paypal, or something like that. I am making money online, through Local SEO, and such and i get paid in cash. but i need to invest in certain services and such, but i do not have any online funds on paypal. ( i do not use my parents money at all, because i am making money by myself and trying to help the financial crisis, as my family is currently in financial difficulty.) If there is any idea or possibility of getting physical cash into funds on my paypal account, so i can further pursue local SEO tactics/services, please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Answer:
For your parents to have even been able to link THEIR cards and bank account it must have been a student account? I say that because paypal will have your full name already filled out and unchangeable when you try to add your card information..so how could it let you link a card that has a totally different name on it than who signed up with paypal?? I don't know, but it could pose a problem because you are not 18, and I wouldn't want anything freezing my funds. It seems that if paypal tried to withdraw or transfer funds or make a payment on your behalf, I don't think that it would go through because paypal has the name that you used and it does not match bank information....Try a student account if that is not what you have...there is no way they could have changed your name if that is what you signed up with. Hope I helped :)
