Amazon Kindle with Ads, question?

  • Okay, so i want the kindle for my birthday, im turning 15 on the 24th! (:DD), and i want the one for 139$ it has 3g all around the world but has ads. now, i heard there is an ad that gives 20$ for the price of 10$. is this an unlimited deal? or just once? and do you honestly think its worth it? like i love reading, but im a little hesitant on buying every single book. do you think there are good free books? thank you so much!

    The Kindle with Special Offers is a great deal. You save $25 or more in exchange for some ads as screensavers and at the bottom strip on menus. The ads change, and like Groupon offers, are for a limited time. You can buy books, but you'll also find many, many books for free. About 2/3 of the books on my Kindle are free ones that I find every week. You can also download the first few pages of any book to decide if you like it before buying. This fall, the Kindle will be able to borrow books from your local library, and Amazon has just announced a program to rent school textbooks!
