How can I use an American Express Simon Giftcard on paypal?

I have tried numerous times to use the Simon Giftcard under paypal (by going to add debit/credit cards and trying to add one) but it has never been successful. Any ideas on how this can work?

Answer:
The card needs to have your name and address, some gift cards lets you do that if you call the 800 number. Depends on the gift card, I know Visa does it. You add your information and then use your name and address when adding the card. Or you can just use the card to make the payment on the actual website....
