Jansport backpack?

Looking for a durable backpack similar to jansport right pack?

  • i'm looking for a backpack that's like the jansport right pack, but more space. i am a college student and live on a large campus so i need to carry my laptop (17.5") along with books all around, so it has to be durable, especially in the straps. i'm not really looking for something that looks like a northface backpack, but again, something that looks simpler like the jansport right pack. i've look at stores like urban outfitters but their backpacks aren't very big and are not durable whatsoever. i've also looked at brands like the herschel but i don't know the quality and durability of their backpacks. help?

    Might I suggest the Jansport Big Student backpack? It comes in a variety of solid colors like the Right Pack, although it doesn't have any suede leather bottom. It includes a few more pockets than the Right Pack for organization and the Big Student has two main compartments instead of just one for more room. The dimensions are 17.5in h x 13in w x 10in d compared to the Right Pack's 18in h x 13in w x 8.5in d. The Big Student has these special shaped straps for extra comfort because it's designed to hold a lot. Hey! I'm searching for a backpack too! I don't like patterns or lots of designs on it, simple & clean is what i go for haha. I really like herschel pop quiz or heritage backpacks, or the right pack backpack. There's something called northface purple label but i think those are only in japan. I want a backpack that has a leather bottom so if i drop it or just place it on the floor it won't easily get ruined. I don't own a herschel (i want to) but i think jansport is similar to herschel like with exterior, but probable herschel is more durable because I had a jansport and I used the same one all 4 years in highschool... it was still in one piece....well there was a tear on the front (but thats cuz i wasn't really taking care of it) nevertheless.... go for herschel!!! or one of the links i gave you :) sorry. i don't know any other backpack brands besides the ones you mentioned and the ones I gave...
