Can i use an ebay giftcard on a limited paypal account?

I won a few auctions & paypal limited my account access for no reason. i've already provided them with all the information they requested & i am waiting for them to restore my account. i don't want to risk being unpaid item strikes for the auctions i won so i'm trying to figure out how i can pay for them...if i get an ebay giftcard it says that you have to use it through a paypal account. does anyone know if it will let me use it on my limited access account since it's a gift card and not a cc or bank acct?
