Green dot/paypal and ebay gift card question?

hello i just wanted to know if you buy a 25 buck Ebay gift card does it charge you an extra 5 bucks to activate and use it on ebay? cause i know when you buy the green dot and activate it when you buy it at a store they charge you an extra 5 bucks plus the 25 dollars you put on it so just want to know is the ebay gift cards the same?

Answer:
I don't know if the gift card charges the same amount, but you will be charged for actually buying the card. The money on any giftcard or load card does not counter in how much you pay at the register..
