Buying stuff on Ebay?
-
Hey all, I have a question regarding buying stuff off of Ebay. This is my very first time buying something off Ebay, let alone the internet so I'm new to the internet buying world. I just got done signing up for an Ebay account and a Pay-pal account, but my question is how exactly do I buy stuff from Ebay using this Pay-pal feature? I don't have a bank account, credit card, or debit card so I am wondering if I could just buy like a Pay-pal card, and add money to it or something like that? If that doesn't work out, than what about if I buy a card that has money on it, insert the money on my Ebay account by entering the code shown on the card, and however much money I have onto my actual Ebay account will be sent to the seller's bank account once I purchase the item from him/her. You see, I'm trying to buy the original 151 Pokemon card set, and I see someone selling it for $99 which I have, but I don't know how to use Pay-pal. One more question I have, is let's say I buy something from someone but it doesn't arrive, or I buy a real Pokemon card from someone but they end of selling me a fake card, what do I do? Thank you everyone and it's very unlikely someone will read all of this.

Answer:
Hi, you will be able to buy a prepaid card and enter it on your paypal account for one or two purchases. Then Paypal will require you to verify the account, which means you will have to link either a bank account or credit card to the paypal account. Paypal is very limited as far as usage on ebay with an unverified account. As far as if the seller doesn't make good on your purchase, you are protected by ebay and paypal. Give any item you purchase two weeks to arrive. If it doesn't arrive by then, contact the seller and ask where it is. If they don't respond, open a dispute for "item not received" on ebay, and the seller then must prove they shipped the item or you get a full refund from ebay.
