Paypal question online shopping?

  • I currently have $75.95 onmy paypal account from what i have sold on ebay . , the thing is that i have no bank account , all i have is a green dot pre paid reloadable credit card. i wanna be able to shop online ,. do i really need a bank account to shop online , cant i get the money directly from pay pal account and buy things online ?

    You could check with PayPal on whether there are any fees involved to transfer your current funds in your PayPal account to your green dot prepaid reloadable credit card. And see if the websites that you plan to make your purchases from actually accept this credit card or not as certain sites do not accept them. you dont need a bank account all you need is a pre paid credit card i just bought something with my pre paid card

you don't need a bank account to shop online. you can use a green dot pre paid card (i am considering it is visa, debit, amex etc that is accepted where you want to shop). is paypal asking you for your bank account? in that case it may be because paypal is asking you to verify your account or it needs your bank account to fund your account. The second one would be the case if you tried to charge your paypal account an amount larger than your paypal balance.

Paypal has a prepaid debit card that allow you to use the funds in your paypal account anywhere mastercard or visa is accepted.Greendot might have it where they can issue you the account and routing number oft your card. This is the info you would give the irs or your job in order to receive your pay on the card. I have a wired plastic card that I am able to use like a bank account. They gave me the routing num and acct num and I had my irs refund placed on it and also set it up as a bank acct on paypal. mx
