Bought something from ebay seller sent something else?

  • So i bought these shoes from ebay the seller had 282 positive feed back so i thought it was legit. then like 2 weeks later i get a small package from the seller and it says vans shoes on the package so i open it and its a coin and the seller removed the post but i still have the info on my email.did i get scammed? can i do anything?i used paypal if that makes a difference don't really use ebay and after this time don't plan on using it again.

    Open a dispute on ebay asap. It's easy to do - go on your ebay account page to the "won" items. Go to the line for that item - on the right there is printing in blue, click on that. On that list you will find "resolve a problem", click on that and go to the resolution center. Once there, open a dispute for "item not as described". If the listing was removed, it may be that ebay did so because they caught the seller and removed them from ebay already. You will get a full refund and should not have to send anything back to the seller, since it was a scam in the first place. Very sorry you got a bad seller. Most sellers on ebay are trustworthy.
