Paying via paypal on ebay?

I bought something on ebay and i made a paypal account to pay.Since i have no creditcard is transfered some money on my paypal account via bank transfer.That worked but if i try to pay on ebay now and choose paypal as pay method,they want to know my creditcard numbers.i cant go on if i dont do that but i dont have a creditcard. Can anyone please help me?

Get a debit card on your bank account. Mine is the same as a credit card. I have a number to give when they ask for one. By the way, I have never been asked for a credit card number on any of my ebay purchases, did you report to ebay that you had been asked?

you will either need to get a debit card for you checking, or plan way ahead and add the funds to paypal via transfer. This usually takes a couple of business days
