Why can't I bid on eBay?

I won a bid on ebay but i cant really afford it any more what can i do?

  • what are some things i can do? is there any way i can opt out of it?

  • Answer:

The only way out is tocomtact the seller and ask him if he'll release you from your bid, he may ask you to pay listing fees to cover his cost, if not you entered into a contract to buy the item , you may have a diificult time purchasing from ebay again, but depending on the dollar amount, I doubt if the seller would sue you/

A bid is a contract. The seller can force you to pay if he wanted to take legal action. At the least you will have a tough time bidding on anything in the future. Contact the seller and see if he will let you out of the contract. ɦəlʞɹɐq

If you can't afford it you should probably talk to the seller. I bid on ebay all the time and there are some pretty decent people on there. Once you bid it is like a contract or so. If you can't pay it negative feedback will be left and there is a chance that your profile might get deleted. But is up to the seller to choose the action that will be taken. But good luck to you.

Try contacting the seller and see what he can do. Otherwise, the seller can legally force you to pay for it because it is by contract.
