How do I find the item number on a ebay item?

How do you find your PayPal transaction number?

  • I bought something online and it wasn't the item i had ordered (on ebay) so i emailed the lady who i bought the item of and she keeps saying give your transaction number,i log on to paypal and apparently there is NO transactions there.Nothing! Any idea how i can find it??? ty

  • Answer:

There IS a transaction #. And it's actually pretty easy to find. Since you paid with PayPal, just go to your PayPal account. After you log in, look in your transaction history on the bottom half of the page and find the line for the payment you need the transaction # for. Click on the "details" link for that transaction. You'll then be given the detail page. About a couple of inches from the top, you'll see the text "Unique Transaction ID". Right next to it is the unique Transaction ID the eBay seller needs. Hope this helps.

I think she wants the Item Number of the eBay listing. Just go back to your purchased items list on My eBay and click on the listing. It should be displayed somewhere on the right hand side. The listing is automatically linked to the Paypal transaction so the seller should be able to find it easily. Re: NO transactions on Paypal. Only the most recent 7 days of activity is displayed. If the transaction is older than 7 days, click on View All Transactions, then select the dates you want to display.
