Is it possible to delete your own Ebay listing?

How to delete a listing on ebay?

  • I had someone bidding on an shirt that I was selling, little did I know that I didn't have that shirt anymore. How do I go about deleting it?

  • Answer:

You can follow these following steps: Step 1 Go to eBay's "End My Listing Early" form (see Resources). Step 2 Enter your eBay "User ID" and "Password" and click "Sign in." Step 3 Enter the item number and click "Continue." The item number can be found in your listing confirmation's email, or in the right-hand "Other item info" section of the listing itself. Step 4 Choose how to end the auction, if there are bids on the auction. If there is more than 12 hours remaining, choose either "Cancel bids and end listing early" or "Sell item to high bidder." If less than 12 hours remain, you can only "Sell item to the high bidder." If no bids have been placed, you do not have to select an ending action. Step 5 Select a reason for ending the auction early. eBay requires a valid reason, such as a broken item or inaccurate description. After submitting your reason, your listing will be deleted.

Go to your Active Items page...this is the page where all of your current listings are displayed in your My eBay pages. Find the listing you want to cancel. To the far right, there's a drop down listbox. Click on it and you'll see "End item". Click on this, follow the instructions, and your listing will be cancelled. Hope this helps.
