How do I use my card on ebay with paypal?

• I've had a paypal account for a while now but whenever I try to buy something on ebay I always have to transfer money from my bank account into my paypal account. I want to be able to make a direct payment from my bank account via my card without having to transfer the money to paypal as it takes up to two weeks for my bank to process it. My dad bought something from ebay recently and he just used his card to make a direct debit, so how do I do that?

  you need to put a credit card on file with paypal. if you have a debit card that also works like a credit card (ie has the visa logo) this should also work. go to the profile tab under my accounts in paypal - there is a link to edit or add a credit card. good luck!
