Has anyone heard of auction websites such as BidFun, QuiBids, and Penny Auctions. Are they legit?

The only auction site I know is legit is Ebay. I am just looking for another site.

Answer:
I know of two sites that are legit, quibids and shopbig. Both of these sites ship your winnings and offer "Buy it Now" for auctions you loose (all the $ you put into the auction goes toward the purchase price). Good luck and have fun! http://www.quibids.com http://www.shopbig.com

http://www.farauctions.com makes buying easy. The details pages are very informative. They include information about the product, seller, payment, shipping and general auction facts. There are additional tabs located above the picture of an item for sale and the details section describes the item's bid history and a complete question and answer log from other buyers that have contacted the seller with questions about the product. This is one of the few auction sites we found that was so complete in its item disclosure. I like this site..
When a television sells for $40 , there were 3,999 bids since each bid raised the price by one penny. Each bid cost 60¢. Bidders paid $2,400. The winner paid $40. So the total paid to the website was $2,440 for a tv. There are 2 main complaints about the site. Several people signed up to buy a trial package of 6 bids for $3.60. They were billed $60 or $148. When they called to complain, they were not helped. When you watch the auctions carefully, you will see some bidders who bid and bid but never win. They are spending $1,000 every day. Either they are brain-dead or they are cheaters.

Quibids is. But the thing is once you bid you lose that money I.E: all your friends are trying to buy something from your friend Steve you bid a buck your friend bids two but you can't top two so your friend would win and they get the object but the catch is you don't get your buck back so you lose money if you lose
its a secret
First I would say try out Amazon, its like ebay but a little cheaper on some stuff. I have tried Quibids before and it was pretty cool. But you have to make sure that you start out with alot of money because if you don't then you'll always get out-bidded. I never actually won anything big. Good luck!
