Is it okay to get an unpaid eBay strike?

Ebay Seller not responding?

• okay so i won the bid on an ebay item and i went to go pay with paypal and it doesnt work it says i need to be verified and ives me the option of sigining up for a credit card or linking my bank account and i cant do either of these im not signing up for a new credit card and i dont have a bank account to link. ebay should have said this before the auction. ive sent the seller messages telling him i cant pay for it and sent me one message just saying he doesnt beleive me and i should pay but i really cant pay because it just says im not verified. it has been going on for the past week and is turining into a hassel im pretty new at ebay this is only my second bid and this is just a hassel and very complicated and annoying and i really dont want to complete this transaction anymore what should i do know my friend told me to wait 7 days then nothing happens i can get a strike but i really dont care for that i barey ever use aby so what can i do to not complete this auction it is very time consuming and a huge hassel

  I dont know why you say the seller is not responding when they did, perhaps if wasnt the answer you were looking for. Its not the sellers fault you "cant" pay nor is it ebays responsiblity to inform you that you must have a verified paypal account ( its not rocket science to become verified either) . You bid, you win, you pay pretty simple concept but anyway just wait the 7 days like you said & you'll earn yourself a nice strike. A couple of these & ebay will close your account forever. I just gave a non paying bidder a strike, its my time, energy & cash shes wasted so your lame excuse of it being too much hassle to complete this transaction doesnt hold any value to me
