How do I use pay-pal for eBay?

Im thinking about buying a phone on ebay. Do I need paypal if they only use paypal? How do i use it?

  You need to go to Paypal and set up an account. Whatever method you you chose to pay for things, is the account it will be taken from. When you win something on Ebay, the PAY NOW screen, will lead you thru the process and take you right to the Paypal payment page. Theyve made it real simple since Ebay bought Paypal. DO NOT give out your credit card number to a seller. This is why Paypal was set up. You dont want people knowing your cr. card or checking account number. Paypal is very safe. Ive used it since it first began. I bought/sold stuff on Ebay since in 1999 and it was all money orders etc. Big hassle for the seller and buyer. You had to wait. This way, they can get your stuff mailed out, as soon as Paypal confirms your payment, to them. You can use it to send money to anyone, or vice versa
