How to set focus on top item?

Just set up paypal, how can i pay for item won on ebay straight away?!!help!?

  • have won an item on ebay and need to pay it today in order to get in time for next weekend when it is needed. i set up a paypal account just now and added my bank account as it said. however you have to wait 2-3 days for it to be verified. so does this mean i cannot pay that person until these 2-3 days? also could i have added a debit card instead of my bank account and if i did this would i have been a ble to pay straight away? if so can i cancel the verification for my account, set up my debit card on there and then pay them now? also how does paypal work? when my card or the bank account is on there and i click to pay the ebay item through paypal does it just take my money from the account/card and give it to them or do i have to pay money from this account/card into my paypal balance first? so confused!!! thanks

    You can add a debit card to the account as well as your bank account however both need to be verified in order for you to pay for the item with funds from your bank or card. The only way to avoid the wait and pay today is ask someone you know with a paypal account to gift you the funds ( they need your registered email address) and you give them the cash. To verify a bank card still requires paypal to charge a small deposit from the card, you then have to enter the deposit amount into the verify page ( it is refunded to your paypal balance). This is faster but you will need internet banking to be able to check the deposit or wait for a paper statement. You could email the seller and ask if they will accept an uncrossed postal order. You nip down to the post office get one with the sellers name and amount done then post it to them at the same time using a recorded delivery service. If you need to pay for the item faster, yes you should pay with your debit card. I'm pretty sure you can just add the card to your paypal account and then you should be able to pay for the item. Paypal will automatically charge your card and deposit the sum on the seller's account, you don't have to put the money on your paypal account.
