    Use ebay's calculator. You can't ship a t-shirt media mail. Media mail is for book, dvds, tapes, and other media items. The Post office will definitely find your item and "get" you by sending it back and making you re-ship it. Thus losing your initial postage price. If it is one t-shirt send in in a flat rate priority mail envelope. It will cost you $4.95 to send it any where in the US. The PO will let you put anything (within reason no dangerous items) in a flat rate envelope as long as you do not have to use additional tape to close the envelope. I sell jeans on ebay and this is how I ship 90% of them. Only the larger sizes that will not fit in the envelope don't get shipped that way. Then I use with regular priority mail or parcel post which ever is cheaper. If you are not a regular seller on ebay just go to the PO and ask for one of the envelopes they are made of cardboard and are free. If you are going to be regularly selling on ebay you can order them for free (absolutely no cost too you) from the PO's website: wwww.usps.com. I hope this helps!

I use bubble wrap envelopes to ship any clothing item that doesn't have buttons or anything that can be crushed, such as zippers, buckles,buttons etc. I use boxes for anything else, and usually don't use the priority mail boxes for clothing because of the expense to the buyer. I buy boxes from Uline.com and also glean free boxes from local stores to use. I use a scale and the shipping wizard on ebay to determine how much it will cost to ship. You can't use media mail for anything except media items such as books, magazines, music and movie dvds and cds, movies. If you get caught using media mail for anything else there is a stiff fine.

I usually ship clothing in an envelope or small box, what ever the item will fit in and then send it standard or regular post through the USPS. If the item is clothing you will not be able to send it via media since it is not printed material such as a book. I always include a shipping fee in my listings so the customer will pay for the shipping

First off, ebay doesn't ship anything. You will probably find that large bulky items would best be shipped by U.P.S. Ground. Smaller things through the post office.
