How do you use craigslist?

I am going to sell an item off of Craigslist ad, but the person wants to use Paypal? How do I do this?

  • So I am selling something off craigslist and the person lives in another state. I have a paypal account but I only used it for a few transactions so I don't know the ins and outs of this. The lady wants to just use paypal to pay for the item, how do I do it?

    Let her know the email address you use for PayPal (not the password). When the money is sent go to your account in PayPal and check. Never trust an email. You can then transfer the money to your checking account or just leave it there for future purchases. There are many scams. Never trust an email stating that the money will appear in your account when you supply shipping information. That is a scam. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪

You can get her email address and send her an invoice or give her your email address and make a payment. You are aware that paypal will charge you for accepting the payment so you will lose out on money that way. You need to find out how much that will be so the final cost you charge her will cover that. Also I assume you have the shipping cost squared off too? mx
