How do you reply to feedback left on ebay?

I left negative feedback for a seller on ebay - now they've bought something from me!?

  • Hello there, I left negative feedback for a seller on ebay as the item was damaged. I emailed them 4 times, I got a response from the first email then nothing. The item was supposed to be brand new and undamaged. They have now asked me to change my feedback and have bought one of my items. I have blocked them now but I'm guessing I'm going to be getting a negative feedback in retailiation. Is there anything I can do? I can't find anything on ebay about it!?!

    Cancel the sale, they will definitely leave you negative feedback. You can't change their feedback, once left it is permanent, that being said, ebay does revoke negative feedback once in a blue moon for appeals but it has to be an extraordinary reason for them to do so. Contact ebay on the help portion and tell them the entire story, and your fear of retaliation from this seller, they will most likely remove the listing so he can't leave feedback - hopefully !! good luck.
