Cheap online shopping website?

Is snapdeal.com genuine website for online shopping?What option remains for me?

• Is Snpadeal.com genuine ? Some time back I got to know about Snapdeal.com as an Online shopping website which offers several products and services at a very reasonable cost through several emails and SMS messages sent by the site as advertisements. I verified about with some friends and decided to make purchase through this site. On 13th January,2012, I made an online purchase order for a product and to avail that offer on that day ,the only available option was to make online payment, (it was not a small amount)which I did . I received sms massage from the site as confirmation of the order and also received two emails WITH DETAILS OF THE PRODUCT ORDERED AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FULL PAYMENT RECEIVED . I called on the helpdesk no. 011-45371100 sent to me as confirmation message .I was told that it would take 7-10 working days excluding Saturdays and Sundays ,which was surprising for because the ordered product had to be delivered from Delhi to Delhi. Even after end of 7 working days when I did not receive anything I checked with the website and was told that it might take some more time. Whenever I called them I was told “your complaint will be forwarded to the concerned department” and on my email ID i received apologies with contention that due to too many orders ,dispatch of few orders is being slightly delayed .But the product has not been delivered to me while my money is still lying with snapdeal.com. Even more than 10 working days have passed I don’t get anything information regarding the delivery of the product or any relevant information of my concern? Is Snapdeal.com a genuine shopping site ?
