Serious Problem with Yahoo Auctions Search Engine?
-
All along Yahoo Auctions has the problem of not able to search for our listed items on Auctions Search Engine. I sent emails to Yahoo Auctions more than a year ago and till now the problem has not been resolved. Today, 26 May 08, there is even a more serious problem at Yahoo Auctions Search Engine. The items that appear when we key in the item name does not match at all. Even the items sold by the particular ID does not match at all as items of another seller appears instead. Hope someone from Yahoo will solve this problem asap as how are sellers going to sell our items when there are such serious errors in your Auctions Search Engine?

Answer:
Folks, I agree, yahoo staff just can't be bothered. They have had this technical recurring problem that have never been resolved for many months already and now, the problem just worsen. I have been emailing them for their updates, as usual, try emailing them and they will send you this standard auto reply. Maybe they are all waiting for buyout by Microsoft or similar. In a snap, I doubt they are doing anything, else they will at least do a public posting, announcement or apology or something like that. But they did nothing. Maybe they are just having coffee and cookies in the office right now. What a shame!

I have the same problem too. Here's the trick: List your items and check your own "live auctions" and see if your items are listed. If they don't appear, the search engines of course will not find it. I'm resigned to trying my luck and resubmitting countless times.

Other than this problem which I am also encountering, I also noticed that when i leave my machine with the browser on yahoo Auctions, after some time when I come out of sleep mode, it drives up my cpu to 100%. Upon investigation via the task manager, I end the process for the internet explorer that is running yahoo auctions, and everything returns back to normal. Anyone has a similar problem?
