About online shopping- online order question was my order placed?

  • have you ever orderd a book online? today i tried to order thse 2 books online and whats weird was that the subtotal of the order was $5.65 or something like that cause the books are cheap on amazon.co.uk and so my dad entered his credit card number and then the total of the order became like $33 and something like that and i was confused an my dad was all yelling at me and saying "im not paying for it you said it'd be $5.00!!" so i didnt place the order- i didnt click the place order button. it costed more cause of postage cause i think it'll be shipped from britain to the us..but if i did order it they'll e-mail me and send the receipt right and tracking number right? i dont think i placed the order becasue i didnt click on the button to place te order and if i did order it, it would've said thanks for your order and that didnt show up either.

    If you didn't hit that button, then no you didn't complete the sale. ALWAYS check the shipping fees before trying to purchase something.
