Do I get extra charge if I cancel an order from amazon.com?

Order shipment complication?

  • So I ordered a product online, and I changed my mind about it 4 days after and decided to cancel it. I'm pretty sure got my money back because it said that I paid for it on my bank statement and then I got my money back when I cancelled it so it was as if they never charged me. I get a email today from the company stating that my order has been shipped. I had to call again to confirm that the order was supposed to be canceled. Apparently it wasn't so they canceled FOR SURE. The problem is, the package has already been shipped, and the company told me to ship it back in order to get my refund. That confuses me because I technically already got my money back. Are they going to still charge me within the 60 day policy if I don't ship it back? Or if it gets lost in the mail, I am just concerned of being charged of something I technically didn't buy in the future. Or do I get away with a free product? Help?!

  • Answer:

Do not accept it when it arrives. Do not open it. The shipping company will return it free. If you open it you will have to pay for shipping. It is their error for shipping it after it was cancelled. ℬ ℋ
