What are popular sites to sell items?

  • Our apartment was recently broken into and several items were taken from us. I'm searching craigslist and intend on searching the local pawn shops next. I'm wondering if you could help me with some other popular sites people use to sell things.

    You may try posting your ads on other classified websites as well. there are lots of free classified sites out there.and you should post on almost every genuine site you can find. it wont take you more than 30 secs each to post your ad but the replies you will get will increase significantly and thus you will get more offers. Some of the classified sites you should consider posting on: http://usa.postad.ca or http://canada.postad.ca if you are from Canada http://www.olx.com http://www.backpage.com beware of the scammers though on those free sites. Sorry, but stuff that's stolen out of houses rarely ends up on CraigsList or on eBay, they're more likely to just be sold for a few bucks in cash to someone on the street. I mean, don't forget, you were probably robbed by junkies looking for stuff to sell to get some dope, so they're not exactly likely to be going on eBay on their laptops while they're having a latte in Starbucks, they'll just sell the stuff to someone for some quick cash to get high and move on.
