How reliable is ebay?

  • People how reliable and safe is ebay?i mean like do they sell really working goods and arent there faulty goods there?

    I am a little leary about buying items on ebay at times. There are a lot of counterfeit items but not all are so it depends on the item. Check out the seller and read their ratings. Purchase from a powerseller or someone who is known for selling good quality items. Read the item description completely including shipping and refunds/exchanges. Also, use Paypal when paying for the item. They have a dispute resolution process where if you are not happy with the item or didn't get what you paid for in most cases you can get your money back. I once purchased a Juicy Couture charm from a seller and when I tried to add it to my bracelet it wouldn't fit. When I compared it to my other charms it was not the same. I wrote the seller and told them it was an "obvious fake"! They told me to keep the item and gave me a full refund.

I felt the same way a few years back and my friend bought tires for his car and all seemed legit, so of course I started buying things such as ps3 games, controllers, phone cases, iPad 2 cases, etc and everything was in new condition. Some people sell old or used stuff and itll state it's condition in the description...me personally I dnt buy used items but anyway I must say I have not ran into any problems I started bout 4 or 5 years ago. But always just check for return policies for the things u buy in case theres a defect and u cn leave positive, neutral, or negative feedback about your experience with them and most companies will do anything for positive feedback from you so they more than likely will do anything to keep you from writing negative reviews about them...Good Luck 🍀

Ebay is very reliable. Its not so much ebay that makes it unsafe. Sometimes its the people who sell the items. Before buying anything ask questions and make sure its what you want and that its in good condition. If your not happy with your purchase you can send it back and they will give you back the payment. If they dont there is a policy on ebay where ebay contacts them and they can be kicked off the site with further action. Its very safe and reliable I buy everything off of ebay!
