Is TESCO's taking over - should we stop shopping there?
-
Im concerned that we are giving to much power to tesco's they are putting small business out of business with there Tesco express - they take 1 in 7 of the british consumer - every where you look there is a Tesco they even do everytbing under the sun - insurance, cars, house, no argos style book legal services My concern is I do nt want to be working for them in 20 years time on pittance - I apppreciate all supermakets sell other good sthese days - but Tesco's takes 1 in 7 pounds they are just to big - will they run the scools, health service - I bet if they could they would

If Tesco did run the schools and health service, it wouldn't long before they both became fully productive, efficient and economical enterprises.

Strange thing about Tesco, I lived in the UK 25 years I have never even used them. I used Safeways, Sainsbury, Iceland and a few more but never Tesco. I didn't find them competitive in the least. Everything they sold I could find cheaper elsewhere. I think Tesco Express was REAL expensive, people went in there to avoid a 15 minutes walk to Sainsbury's which I did anyway as it was the only time I burned some CALORIES. There's more people like me I hope, lol. If not, they deserve all their debts and misery.

I saw a tv programme about it and they're so agressive! It seems they're trying to take over every other supermarket there is! Because they're so cheap, so many people shop there, it's so easy to give in i suppose, which is why no one has aken action!

we're blessed with an asdas, tescos, morrisons, aldi, lidl and waitrose in the area, and for the past 2 weeks have shopped in morrisons, but now am bored with what they have to offer so have done tescos this week, guaranteed by next week i'll be bored with them so i'll move to asdas for a couple of weeks.. and so on. i cant understand people who do all their shopping in one supermarket. boring!!!
