How can I get free gate materials and books online?

Should I rent my college books/cds instead of buying them?

  • Yesterday I posted a question about having a very difficult time with trying to sell back the books and cds that I brought from my schools bookstore. I didn't use more than half of the books and the two cds that came with two of my classes materials were never opened. My classes have packages that are required to be brought which is the only reason why I have so much stuff. Anyways, the only excuse that I got for the company not purchasing back my materials is because they're not "in demand", which is a bunch of bs. I got feedback about using Amazon, Ebay and one other site, which I'll be doing. This will be my second semester coming up so I want to ask before I order my materials on monday. I saw that I could rent my materials and I just wanted to know if anyone else out there took that route. Unfortunately I'm the type of person that likes my stuff to be new. Last semester I only brought one used book, but it wasn't a required item. This is just something that I'll have to get over because it's too expensive to buy all of these materials new and not be able to do anything with them when my semester ends. Thanks for your help. P.S. The bookstore that I HAVE to use is MBS Direct. Oh, they say that I could save up to 50% if I rent, but they also said that the materials are guaranteed buy back :-/

  • Answer:

Renting at 50% sounds like a damn good idea. Check half.com for textbooks. My wife has sold dozens there.
