Can 16-year-old sell things on Ebay?

Will people not sell me things on ebay if my paypal isn't verified?

im new to ebay and paypal and i added my credit card to my paypal account. Now it says that im not verified and i have to add my bank account to paypal. i don't really feel comfortable about doing that. I heard that u don't have to verify it but people say that if u try to buy things on ebay, people wont want to sell u anything. WILL I HAVE TO ADD MY BANK ACCOUNT JUST TO BUY ON EBAY??? ISNT MY CREDIT CARD ENOUGH? i didn't know ebay was so complicated

You don't HAVE to verify. The people who sell have NO idea of your PayPal status. They don't get that information. That's the whole point of PayPal. It's between you and PayPal, so no one else needs the information.
