How to get free coupons?

How do some people claim the get most of their groceries for free using coupons?

• Hi. I asked a question a few weeks ago about how to feed a family of three healthy foods if I only have about $40/week as my grocery budget. Someone suggested using coupons, and since i'm willing to try anything, I've been doing some research for the last few weeks. I'm now pretty familiar with the whole couponing thing. There are websites out there (moneysavingmom.com - forthemommas.com - couponmom.com) hosted by women who claim that they get most of their groceries for free and their grocery budget is $20 a week, and they "end up with so much food" they donate most of it. They also do coupon match-ups (matching an item that's on sale to a coupon from the sunday paper) for you. I was so exited at first because I thought I hit a gold mine! All I had to do was select the deals I wanted, clip the coupons and be off to collect my full shopping cart for only pennies! Boy, was I wrong... In their coupon match-up lists, 90% of the things they list are air fresheners, blood glucose meters, post it pads, silly stuff like that, but no real groceries! At least not enough to feed a whole family! I've also seen them on tv and youtube. On their videos, they show you what they bought, the coupons they used, and how the register shows they only owe like $10 after the coupons!!! How do these people do it?? Does anyone out there do couponing? How can these people say they get it all for free? Does anyone know if this is possible to achieve? (Just to clarify: these sites are not scam sites where they are trying to charge you anything, or get you information in any way. They are 100% free and you don't even need to create an account to see the "deals", they are on the front page of the site, available to everyone...)
