Why do I get a blank page when I go on the Internet?

Something is going on with internet explorer. when i go to its web page and clik on any of its links i get a?

• message saying that internet explorer has stopped working. Where as with Yahoo and Aol i dont get any of that problem

  You may have downloaded/installed some adware/spyware. I have found that toolbars from non-trust worthy vendors cause IE to hiccup. Sometimes your best friend is Microsoft System Restore. You can use system restore to back out changes.
