What is the action bar, and where do I find it.?

I was advised to click on my question and than click on the action bar to extend my time. Cannot find action bar, in words, anyway. is there an icon i have to click on. gramps

The action bar is directly under your question and just above the first answer. It has words such as "email, interesting, edit." Click on edit and you will see the option for extending the question.
